Papermache based historical miniature doll - D. João IV King of Portugal

Hi everyone!

Some days ago I've finished my miniature figurine of King D. João IV of Portugal and uploaded a video about it on my artsy YouTube channel. It tells a bit of the life of this important Portuguese historical figure as well as my creative process ...

Have a look in case you enjoy either arts, history or both!

Hope that was inspiring for all of you, history lovers!

Hi everyone !

Maybe miniature historical swords aren't really a huge item for dollhouses, but, hey, who knows! I made mine for one of my dolls.

Want to try and make one or several? Here's some tips ;

Papermache nativity scene cradle

Hi everyone :)

Nativity scenes were what triggered my doll making activity since I became acquainted with our XVIII century ones from the greatest artist of them all, the Portuguese sculptor Machado de Castro, most famous for his statue of King D. José I at Praça do Comércio in Lisbon (for sure you've been there, right?)

This year I've ventured to make a small one and want to hare how I did the manger so it might trigger you to do one too!

Have a look ;)
